Since the success of our jewelry enterprise, the Group has diversified into the food and beverage business by opening unique Italian inspired coffee shops, Caffe Casa, and I am particularly pleased that we have begun to realize our dream of global branding by opening an outlet in Turkey. We have also entered into the clothing and fashion industry by entering into partnerships with several clothing companies that offer quality fashion at affordable prices which is what the market can support at this time but we are poised to expand into high end fashion in the more prosperous future.

The Buhajar Group is a well-established and trusted conglomerate looking to reinvigorate the business environment in Libya and the surrounding regions. The Buhajar Group was founded by the Buhajar family, who started business in the 1940’s, and now operates in North Africa, Europe, and the Middle East, and is actively working to expand into other regions. The family started in the textile trade and then successfully expanded into high end jewelry which laid a solid foundation for their business to diversify and grow upon.

The journey of the family enterprise, Buhajar Group, began with its patriarch, Mr. Ahmed Buhajar, who was a textile trader in Libya and North Africa starting in the 1940’s. He not only laid a solid foundation for the family business but also forged the Group’s core business value of customer satisfaction. He determinedly built a good reputation and paved the way for future generations. It was also his practice of good will towards others that guided his family to give back to the community even before it was the common business practice of social responsibility.
